Privacy Policy

This policy covers five30am.com, operated by Five30AM ("I", "me"). It explains what information I handle and why. I keep it short because there is not much to tell.

Who I am

Five30AM is an independent business based in the United States. You can reach me at hello@five30am.com.

Analytics

I measure visits with Plausible Analytics, which I host myself at analytics.five30am.com. It does not use cookies, does not build profiles of individual visitors, and does not follow you across other sites. I see aggregate numbers such as pages viewed, referring site, country, and browser type. This data stays on my own server and is not sold or shared.

Fonts and third-party requests

The fonts on this site are served from my own domain. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service when you load a page. The only outside services involved are the ones described below, and only when you choose to use them.

Contact form

If you send me a message through the form on the services page, I receive your name, email address, website, the offer you are interested in, your message, and your answers to the optional questions about Search Console access and how you found me. If you arrived from a link, I also receive the referring site's name and any campaign tags in the link (utm values), so I know what is working. The form submits to a Cloudflare Worker that I run, which passes the message to Resend, my email delivery provider, so it can be delivered to my inbox at hello@five30am.com. I use this information to reply to you, scope any work you ask about, and understand which channels bring in inquiries. I do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to me.

Payments

Payments for services are handled by Stripe through Stripe payment links. When you pay, you enter your card details on a Stripe page, not on mine. I never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with me the details I need to deliver the work, such as your name, email address, and what you bought. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Project files and access

If you hire me, you may share things like Search Console access, exports, or hosting details so I can do the work. I use them only for your project, ask that you share them through secure sharing tools, and recommend you revoke access when the work is done.

AI and other software tools. My work is AI-assisted. To analyze your data and prepare deliverables, I use software and third-party AI tools, which means that your data and site materials may be processed by those services. I review every recommendation before it is delivered. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices, and I do not control how they operate. If you do not want your data processed with AI tools, tell me before you share anything and we can talk about whether the project can be done another way. I use AI tools with model training on your data turned off.

How long I keep things

I keep messages and project records for as long as I need them to do the work, answer follow-up questions, and keep basic business and tax records. You can ask me to delete your messages at any time, subject to records I am required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it by emailing hello@five30am.com. I will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is for businesses and site owners. It is not directed at children.

Changes

If I change how I handle information, I will update this page and the date above.
